+++ WGT CONCERT CONFIRMED+++ SPIEGELBILD EP CD RELEASE ON 19.07.2008 +++GRAF SIGNS AUTOGRAPHS AT THE AMPHI FESTIVAL AND PRESENTS NEW EP "SPIEGELBILD" +++
April showers bring May flowers- this is an old German saying that fortunately has some truth: This morning we heard the best news in quite a while when Graf phoned us, his management, and was able and allowed to say a few words. He has not spoken a word for 18 days with only one goal in mind: THE WGT PERFORMANCE! After having consulted numerous doctors and specialists who unanimously declared that only keeping complete silence to protect his voice could make a WGT appearance possible he stuck to the advice of the doctors and hoped for recovery. However, there was an imminent risk that his vocal cords could have been damaged forever. As a consequence he could have never performed again in his whole life. Fortunately, the doctors gave the all clear yesterday and took a big load of our minds. Today Graf was allowed to speak a few words and can speak a bit more every day in order to get his vocal cords used to speaking and singing for a longer period. Therefore his WGT gig in 7 days can take place and Graf was so happy that he phoned us personally to let us and, of course, his fans know. So everybody can now definitely look forward to the UNHEILIG performance at the WGT !
+++ SPIEGELBILD EP CD RELEASE ON 19.07.2008 +++
We furthermore want to inform you that the winning song "Spiegelbild" which was chosen by the fans will be released as an EP. Like all previous fan CDs, it will be something very special. It comes as a limited CD with 3.333 pieces which was made particularly for those fans who contributed to the CD by voting on UNHEILIG.com. The EP will furthermore contain new and hitherto unreleased songs plus remixes of old songs and of course "Spiegelbild" in different versions and mixes. On Sunday, July 20th, 08. Graf will be available for a Meet and Greet with his fans at the Amphi Festival. Everybody who wants to have his or her limited "Spiegelbild" EP signed, have a photo taken or simply have a few words with Graf is very welcome to do so at the Amphi Festival in Cologne.
Futher illness + Tourcancellation
Dear Unheilig fans,
as you all know, Graf had to cancel the last few concerts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland due to sickness and postponed them to May 2008.
After a strict period of recovery his doctor allowed him to continue with the concerts in Spain as scheduled.
Unfortunately, things turned out differently. The gigs were very exhausting and on the flight back the first signs of deteriorating health became obvious again and Graf had to see a doctor urgently. His state of health is poorer now than ever before, and what is worse, his vocal cords are seriously harmed. This could even effect his voice permanently.
We have consulted many different specialists to get as many different opinions as possible. Every single one of them underlined the seriousness of this problem and ordered absolute rest.
Only strict discipline plus a long-term training with a speech therapist can protect and finally restore his voice. Graf is not allowed to speak for some weeks and therefore we have to cancel the Russia tour completely. We are extremely sorry for that because the whole crew has really been looking forward to the concerts in Russia which have been organised by our partner SYN Promotion http://syn.goths.ru/group/unheilig/ so very well.
We -but especially Graf himself- are so very sorry for not being able to visit our fans in Russia. We kindly ask you for your understanding as this cancellation is really important for Graf's health and of utmost importance for his further career. We, his management, would like and are indeed obliged to give him enough rest and therefore appreciate your patience and comprehension.
After consultations with the doctors we assume that the next gig will be the one at the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig/ Germany provided the healing process works well. However, this will have to be reconfirmed by doctors in due time.
So far doctors are optimistic and estimate that concerts after May 6th, 08 will be possible as long as Graf's vocal cords get enough rest. Graf is more than willing to heed this advice and has vowed not to speak until May 6th. Those who know him also know that he will do anything in his power to recover quickly because the music and Unheilig mean everything to him.
Furthermore, we will try to find a solution together with our Russian tour organiser to visit our Russian fans and play the concerts there as soon as possible. We will definitely keep you informed about new dates and Graf's state of health.
Graf explicitly asked us to inform you about his recovery process as he is really sorry to cancel the Russian tour and to disappoint his fans.

Dear UNHEILIG fans,
I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for those kind get-well letters that have reached me in great numbers and helped me getting over these difficult times.
After learning that my poor health would not allow me to play the upcoming concerts which all of you have been looking forward to so much I was really devastated and asked myself again and again: " Why did I have to become sick just now?"
I was angry with myself for not being able to live up to your expectations and at the same time afraid to disappoint my dear fans.
The uncertainty about what was going to happen in the future was omnipresent and made my heart sink - until something wonderful happened:
I received thousands of emails and innumerable letters from you conveying your best wishes and sympathy.
You told me how often my music was there for you in difficult situations and that now you would be there for me and give me all the time in the world to get well again.
I can hardly express my gratitude for what you have done for me by writing those letters. They really mean a lot to me! Every single one of you has helped to make my world a little better and has given me hope, faith and comfort.
You showed me that I was not alone and this is something I will never forget and always be grateful for.
I am really looking forward to meeting you all again

New dates available !
After working hard all day on the UNHEILIG tour dates we are happy to offer you alternative dates for the concerts that had to be cancelled. You can also buy tickets for these gigs at the Unheilig Fanshop www.emso.de. Tickets that have already been purchased remain valid. Unfortunately, we have to inform you that the concert in Wörgl (04.04.) cannot be postponed since the organiser could not offer us alternative dates. Therefore, all tickets for the Wörgl show will be refunded where they were purchased.

Cancellation of concerts due to illness
After a breathtaking concert at the Columbiahalle in Berlin where Graf has completely exhausted himself the first signs of a severe bronchitis plagued The Graf. One day later, after signing autographs at the Media Markt in Dessau, The Graf suddenly collapsed on the journey to Magdeburg and had to see a doctor immediately. This breakdown was probably the consequence of complete physical exhaustion during his shows ( those who have been to concerts know what we are talking about) and his state of health is very poor at the moment.
The doctor precribed medicine and ordered bed rest and the cancellation of all gigs within the next 10 days. Otherwise severe complications are to be feared. Unfortunately, this means that the concerts in Vienna, Wörgl, Zürich and Augsburg must be cancelled( postponed!!!! )! At special request of the The Graf we would like to point out that the concerts will be made up for as soon as possible. We are negotiating new dates with the organisers at the moment and will inform you accordingly. Of course, all tickets which have been purchased remain valid! The concerts in Spain are NOT cancelled !!!!
We would like to take this opportunity to wish Graf a speedy recovery. For all of you who want to do the same please do so by writing to management@unheilig.com. We assure you that The Graf will get every single mail sooner or later. We will keep you informed concerning alternative dates!!

"An deiner Seite" will be released on 28.03.2008
Good news for all Unheilig fans - the Graf has chosen the next single release from the album himself and not without reason. He has turned to his fans in an emotional and moving open letter asking for support for the single and the radio voting for "An deiner Seite". We would be grateful if you could overwhelm the radio channel 1LIVE with requests to hear the single "An deiner Seite", as the person in the song lives in the coverage area and we are sure it would be a great present for the person in question if the song was to reach them through the radio waves. Your support would be great. The whole Unheilig team would like to say thank you to you all in advance for your support, as this means a lot to us all.
Unheilig storm the Media Control Charts
The new album "Puppenspiel" stormed in to the german Media Control charts straight in at number 13!!! That makes Unheilig the second highest new entry this week. The Graf and everyone from the Unheilig team would like to thank thier fans for this unexpected event. This would not have been possible without the longlasting support from all the faithful fans. Choose your favourite song from the album Puppenspiel
Once again the fans have the chance to decide which will be UNHEILIG's next CD release. The new EP will be released on May 5th, 2008 but it has not yet been decided which titles and remixes it shall contain. This decision is left to the fans who can vote for their favourite song from the new album „Puppenspiel“. Remixes and variations of the winning song will be on the EP CD along with some other new and exclusive Unheilig songs. Altogether this EP shall contain 7 or 8 tracks and will be released and presented at the Wave Gothic Treffen in Leipzig. UNHHEILIG FAN MEETING DURING THE PUPPENSPIELER TOUR 2008
The "unholy" fan club has once again managed to organise very interesting and well-organised fan meetings during the “Puppenspieler Tour 2008“. WE support these offical fan meetings just before the concerts and would like to invite all fanclub members - and also non-members- to come to these meetings to get ready for the UNHEILIG concert together with other fans.
Of course, the band and Graf himself will pop in and be available for small talk and autographs. For those who will not be able to participae in one of these meetings, the Graf will also give autographs at the merch stnad before and after the concerts.

The day is finally upon us: today is the official release date of the new "Unheilig" album. That is the good news. The bad news for some is that the limited edition is already sold out! Anyone who still needs to get a copy of the limited edition should therefore get a move on, as neither shops nor mail order catalogues can re-order copies. Graf is very busy person indeed! Althought the latest album has not even been released, he has already started working on his new DVD. All waiting has finally come to an end!!! The band has also announced that studio diaries (short video films) of these three songs shall be available soon. Furthermore, the second unholy live video „An Deiner Seite“ recorded in Heerlen ( Belgium ) is online. Berlin Concert relocated due to great demand !
Due to a sensational demand in Berlin the UNHEILIG concert on March 30th, 2008, is relocated from the ColumbiaClub to the Columbiahalle! All tickets hitherto purchased remain validt. Additionally there will be special treat for all Unheilig fans in Berlin. The band has decided to record their "LIVE“ DVD, released in October 2008, during the Berlin gig. Those who would like to witness this event and perpetuate themselves on DVD should definitely travel to the show on March 30th. at the Columbiahalle and contribute to the recording of a fantastic live DVD!

Countdown for the release
The countdown for the release of the new UNHEILIG album “Puppenspiel“ has already started and we would like to present you a new feature on our UNHEIIG Homepage while waiting for the CD. Some of you may have recognized that we are videoing concerts and other band activities in order to capture “unholy“ pictures, emotions and interviews. The results of these recordings are being processed at the moment and shall soon be available on the UNHEILIG homepage and also on myspace. Furthermore we were allowed to film the band while recording new songs in the studio and captured some great moments which will soon be published here along with a studio diary. You will be able to see Graf working in his studio and exclusively listen to new songs as a foretaste of what is to come. We are starting NOW with a short film of a concert which took place in Heerlen, Netherlands in December 2007. Soon videos of the studio diary will follow: the first film is going to show the recordings of “Der Vorhang fällt“ and of course the song itself. As another year comes to an end I want to send you all my heartfelt thanks.
The year of 2007 was very difficult for me, as I knew I would be spending long hours in the studio and have fewer opportunities to give concerts for you. It was clear that 2007 was going to be a much quieter time for UNHEILIG than previous years.
I can not describe my delight on hearing of fan gatherings which you organised across Germany. People, brought together by the music, met together throughout the year in various cities. Even at the smallest gig you came from far and wide, which made each performance a special moment for me.
This year you have shown me how beautiful it is not to be forgotten and given me the freedom to write a new album. This is the greatest gift I could have hopped for.
I wish you all a very happy New Year and that all your dreams may come true. I send a hug to each and every one of you and look forward to seeing you once again in 2008.

Puppenspiel -more details
News from the "puppet workshop"! Just further details on the upcoming CD in February has become known. Once again UNHEILIG remains true to oneself and released the album in two versions. A regular album version with 14 songs in a jewel case and a limited version as the Digi Pak with two bonus songs "Glaub an mich" and "Spielzeugmann". Who in the past has tried to get a limited CD of Unheilig knows, how difficult it is and how fast it is sold out in advance.
Puppenspiel - All Informations
All waiting will finally come to an end! At the end of February 2008 the keenly anticipated Unheilig album “Puppenspiel”, a consequent refinement of its predecessor “Moderne Zeiten”, will be released. Once again The Graf deals with human concerns and desires, often reflecting autobiographical experiences of past and present times, and projects them onto the world of puppet shows.
The puppet show -as a special kind of performing art- represented an exceptional challenge for The Graf during the composition of this concept album. On the one hand, he is able to act the role of the puppet player leading and directing the characters, on the other hand, however, he also plays the part of the animated artefact itself which is rigidly tied to existing mechanisms.
Unheilig also covers the full range of puppet show topics: ancient elements such as the archaic theme of heaven and hell, the medieval good and evil, the romanticism of the 19th century are used alongside with the visual arts of modern times. Compared to its predecessors Unheilig has concentrated more on details and nothing was left to chance. Both production and visual elements of “Puppenspiel“ are more distinct than ever before: the guitars are more precise, the voice more thrilling and passionate and the concept as a whole is a lot more expressive. Never before has Unheilig presented such a musical abundance.
“Puppenspiel“ is a frank, honest and straight forward album which combines bass, beat and guitar elements with breath-taking emotional ballads. Although a variety of textual and musical elements is presented, the album never gets caught in opportunism but rather accentuates the unmistakable voice of the The Graf and thus bestows a final and unique distinctiveness onto this album. Raise the curtain!
UNHEILIG is now also in US!
What we waited so long is finally becoming a reality! With the five albums created, Unheilig is finally making its move oversees and therefore soon all our Gothic Fans who are oversees would be able to hear the voice and listen to the music of Der Graf.
We are very happy to find reliable and great partner for the USA and Canada - "Nilaihah Records". This label has such artists as for example Namnambulu, Interface, Fiction 8, Endanger & Dissonance under its contract and distinguishes itself by high-class independent work in the world of music.
"Puppenspiel" would be the first album that Unheilig would release in US and the other great released albums would not be available to the fans rather way but not for too long. And there would be time when Der Graf and Co would appear live in the USA!

We finally got some free time to breathe and have updated Unheilig's My-Space Page to the newest state of the things. Now, in accordance with upcoming "Puppenspieler" tourney, our Space shows completely new "marionette" design. Nowadays Graf and Co are working at full speed on the new album "Puppenspiel". Unheilig Merchandise Ring
The official Unheilig's Merchandise ring can now be ordered online in two different variations at the fan shop at www.emso.de. Both rings are Unheilig's very high-quality and high-grade steel rings with a great engraving of the Unheilig's logo. The ring will be send inside a real jewelry box which is also engraved with the UH's logo and the box will be provided with inside black ring upholsterer.
The ring can be an ideal present already placed in the gift box or it can also be given to somebody as a friendship engagement ring. There are two ring designs. One of the rings is 7-mm wide with rounded edges and the other ring is a little wider, 9-mm wide with angular edges. Both rings have the same engraving of the Unheilig's logo. Both rings are available in sizes from XS to XXL. Thus this suitable size is for anybody who does not know exactly how to determine his or her size. For that purpose the precise millimeter information is included. The information in millimeter is the circumference of the inside ring that corresponds to your finger circumference. But to get a better idea what these rings are, look at the pictures and just get inspired like we did of what fan jewelry should look like. These rings are truly great and very high-quality!!!
